If this is set up before the Tower of Salvation, Lloyd would be in the middle of playing a pretty bad hand, himself. I can’t see him being privy to the Mithos Yggdrasill detail, but I’d think he’d at least know “Lord Yggdrasill” then. His sword skills would be a bit better from canon, and I think they could exchange blows if necessary.

I haven’t finished KoR so wow, I don’t even have that much information about Ratatatosk.
[ Eh, Ratatosk would be rather weak (he shows astonishment at simply being hit by Richter, I think that shows with him not being used to his new element and the weakened state of all the centurions) so he’d be either evenly challenged or a bit lower than Lloyd. And if Lloyd does a death-blow, he’s gonna get a pretty surprise with a centurion core.

I don’t even know how to write Lloyd in a Knight of Ratatosk setting. I’m still piecing together the AU and am currently at Tethe’alla, post Mount Fooji. Could we even do a “years early Ratatosk introduction”?

[ It’s plausible though isn’t it? I mean, Ratatosk only went into his sleep because of all the energy Ygdrassill used in the first place so if he were to wake up early on and figure out what happened … Well, he’d be ticked and probably be able to sense out where Ygdrassill is so start going to chase after him as well.
[ During the time he could accidentally bump into Lloyd and start demanding information off of him in a weakened state? (*just throwing out ideas now*) Then again, I’m still kind of confused why Ratatosk was asleep to begin with as he regulates the centurions? Bleh– he’d still be ticked at humans and especially the person who broke his pact.
