Protect the citizens—what exactly did this dense blond
think he was trying to do? And a beast tamer? Nova
monsters were untameable, beasts spawned of
Lambda’s hatred that had a singular motive: destroy.
As if anyone could tame such a monster. It was with
incredulous fury that the lieutenant attempted to without
himself from dropping weapon and shaking the other in
forceful attempt to clear his head and shout some sense
into the blond. He would merely stand back as the blond initially rushed
the Nova monster post his wolf’s attack, biding time and
observing. His hand was clenched tight against the combined
handle of his weapon, teeth gritted rather forceably in
annoyance. As those petty attacks were handed by the
blond, the lieutenant merely raised his own weapon, a sharp
snap activating the mid-transformation of a bow, free hand
moving forward to draw a string of pure eleth. Rather than
rush once more into the fray and risk another interruption
by the now injured young man, he would simply stand back
and take aim.Eleth bowstring was released, a single heavy arrow of
destruction upon the sole Nova monster. Singular and
deadly action completed, he would move to approach
the injured blond, hand propping on hip as weapon was
left to fall. Gaze directed downwards was one of extreme
contempt.
“Shall I perhaps explain how undoubtedly idiotic
what you just did was? Or might you be expecting
some semblance of healing for you actions?
You seem as if you could use it.”
The cuts were not too bad, Emil was not a complete
idiot, but the fact he had them to begin them was
sample enough of what idiocy he was capable of.
Yet the action responded, green eyes spinning to turn,
yet dizzying motion only made him stumble
awkwardly, fingers clinging to the bleeding arm. It hurt,
but not enough to cause immediate danger.
Flinching at unkind words, Emil turned his attention
back to the fettered monster upon the ground instead.
How could he explain to someone who wouldn’t want
to see it to begin with. Lowering himself down to his
knees, the blonde lifted his head to the sky to breathe,
wolf-like creature spinning to rush forward, barking,
howl to threaten the man so near it’s master before a
sharp hiss escaped and the beast slowly stopped feet
away from the two of them.
"…Y-you don’t realize it… I know th-that but…“
It hurt. His chest ached incredibly, all those words that
were spat between a muzzle as the creature cursed
humanity. Fingers curled, tightening into his skin before
he pushed himself up.
”H-healing would be nice.“
He decided to mumble quietly, pretending he didn't
say what he had begun earlier. It wasn’t his job to say
that. He couldn’t save everyone. He couldn’t save all
of them – ”Th-thank you … I’m sorry… I thought
that I could … help w-without anymore death.“
But he was wrong. Orion whined tilting his head back
and forth. – } worried.
Motion forward for the wolf to come up, the tall creature
stood above Emil, sniffing his arm and licking at it and
the blonde as he stared at the monster on the ground
silently. So much hatred, so much pain, anguish. It was
difficult at times to fight things like that. Especially when
they knew the exact buttons to press for the summon
spirit. Yet hands lifted, pressing into fur to calm down
the creature with knowledge of fights past.
”He’s not dead yet.“ It wasn’t a question, but a
statement, ”How d-do we get him out of here?“
